If you’re thinking about installing solar panels at your home, watch out for scams!  The old proverb is true: "if a deal sounds too good to be true, then it probably is."

When dealing with home solar panel companies, be wary of misleading social media advertisements and door-to-door solicitations promising home solar panels "FOR FREE!" Don't fall victim to pushy sales tactics, misleading and exaggerated promises, and predatory financing agreements. Watch out for bad business practices, and know your consumer rights! No one should lose their home over the decision to go solar.
